Stretching Safely:

Stretching should play an important part of your everyday regimen.
It will increase your flexibility, range of motion in joints and can help prevent further injuries. Before stretching, warm-up with 5-10min. of light activity- remembering not to bounce! Hold the stretch for approximately 30sec. After any sport or exercise, stretching is also recommended.
